This program works with students ages 12 months (or when developmentally ready) - 36 months.

Basic Information

Early Drop Off: 7:30am-8:00am *earlier drop off can be worked out at an additional cost

Regular School Day: 8:00am-2:30pm

Extended School Day: 2:30pm-5:30pm *later pick up can be worked out at an additional cost


Class ratio is 1:6; one guide per six students


The Toddler room is always on the go!  Guides present lessons to students when they are ready, developmentally, physically, and mentally.  Students can choose what work they are interested in from the shelves, and can work alone or in small groups.  Great emphasis is placed on independence, self-reliance, self-discovery, and learning by error.  The Toddler curriculum includes the following components:

Practical Life Exercises

Equip the student to care for him/herself, care for the environment, exercise respect and courtesy, and refine their physical movements

Sensory Materials

Enable the student to order, classify, seriate and describe impressions in relation to length, width, temperature, mass, color, etc.


Work includes oral language development and reading comprehension skills

Work Centers

Students are offered work centers based on geography, life sciences, physical sciences, music, art, and movement education.
